It’s the valve springs that take horsepower and torque to operate, without the springs the camshaft can be rotated with your fingers
The 790 Dukeâs riding position is just about perfect for a naked bike of this size and my 5-foot 11-inch frame. The clever handlebar clamps allow for four different bar locations to suit rider preference. My riding position gave my body just enough forward lean to feel comfortable all the way up to about 85 mph. Any higher, and I slid my butt back in the seat to add some more forward lean. The seat is sporting firm but not uncomfortable over the course of a day. Wind protection is non-existent â as you would expect from a naked in which you sit high up on the bike. A little windscreen is available as a factory accessory if you like.Â

Saphir Taider scored for the second straight game to put Montreal in front early, but the Impact failed to register another shot on target. And after coming from a goal down in their season-opening victory at San Jose, coach Remi Garde’s Impact suffered a reverse fate here.
The Zags sit on top for a third straight week, earning 41 of 64 first-place votes Monday. The Cavaliers stayed put behind Gonzaga for a third straight week, claiming the remaining 23 first-place votes.
When an anti-vaxxer declines their shot, I ask for two jabs.
Belmont is the team that will likely get the most attention though. The Bruins lost to Murray State 77-65 in the OVC final. Naturally, people are excited that Racers star Ja Morant will get to show his stuff in the NCAA Tournament. Belmont is likely to fall short though. The Bruins’ schedule ranks just barely in the top 200. Only three teams have received at-large bids with a schedule ranked that low, none since 2006.
District 2 runner-up Holy Redeemer was supposed to play District 3 champion Trinity this season, but the weather failed to cooperate a couple times and the game was eventually bumped from the schedule.
Manufacturers choose black oxide as an inexpensive way to improve steel compared to other coatings and blends. Two most popular benefits of this material include corrosion resistance and reduced friction. Both are relatively minor improvements, but it does give the product a bump up over bare steel.
Since the design of sprinkler systems is largely occupancy specific, they may not be effective if the occupancy changes. If a warehouse storing bundles of used clothing changes to a wood pallet repair and storage facility (photo 5), anything larger than an incipient fire involving the new fuel load of pallets will most likely overwhelm the existing sprinkler system unless it had been upgraded. Similarly, sprinklers can fail to control a fire if an occupancy remains the same but there is a change in its fuel load or commodity class, such as an increase in plastics or flammable liquids stored. Additionally, increasing the height or configuration of storage racks can significantly reduce the effectiveness of an existing sprinkler system and necessitate that it be upgraded with the installation of in-rack sprinklers or overhead sprinklers that discharge at a significantly higher volume and pressure.
Except the current electronics will not BLOW or otherwise damage the mechanics when they fail. Having an exhaust valve stuck closed can put way too much pressure on the exhaust cycle (turning it into another compression, but where the starting pressure is much higher than intake ending). That would instantly stall an unloaded engine. Now think a car cruising at 2000rpm, where such a cycle takes 15ms and the car has 1000+kg of inertial mass. This is another technology I will never trust, just like electronic brakes and steering (not electronically assisted….fully eletronic). You may think SW is simple, but you can do so many things (good or unintentionally bad) that you just don’t have enough time to learn everything like in mechanics and hydraulics. If anybody tells you they figured all the ways a SW can fail, it means the SW is pretty simple. PS: I work on transmission control units and I’m telling you we have all kinds of safeguards which disable the electronic control to fall back on mechanical means to disconnect the gearbox….it’s called damage control… And those are still not infailable.
